IRJ Home Inspections: a home inspector's site with prices up front

The business

IRJ Home Inspections is Islam Rizek Jaber’s practice, based in Palos Hills and serving Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. He is a licensed home inspector and does every inspection himself. A condo inspection starts at $300 and a single-family home at $500. His Google rating is 5.0 across 52 reviews.

What was in the way

His old site was built on GoDaddy’s website builder and was essentially one page. There were no separate service pages, nothing about the towns he covers, and no page for realtors.

The harder part was the domain. His Microsoft 365 email, his Teams calling and his GoDaddy payment links all ran on it. Moving the website could not be allowed to break any of them.

What we built

The copy puts him first: “You work directly with Islam, the owner.” Every page has a bar along the bottom with Text first, then Call, then Email, because he answers texts fastest, and the site tells people that.

The pricing page shows the full sheet: single-family, townhouse and condo, each split by square footage. Buyers can budget before they ever pick up the phone. Ten pages go in the sitemap, including services, pricing, service area, a maintenance guide, an FAQ and a page for realtors.

We kept his own colors, cream and his blue, added an orange accent, and used the 20 images he already had. His inspection agreement is on his own domain so buyers can read it before booking. We cut the file from 3.2 MB to 304 KB so it opens quickly on a phone.

The quote form sends to his Microsoft 365 inbox. On September 2, 2026 we tested the whole chain, and the message arrived 4 seconds after it was sent.

For the switch, his DNS stayed at GoDaddy. We changed two records: the www address, and the redirect from the address without www. No email records were touched, and we rechecked his mail, calling and payment records after the change. We left the old GoDaddy site in place rather than deleting it, so he has it to fall back on.

On September 21 we did a search pass: a local title on each page, structured data describing the business and the towns it serves, breadcrumbs, and IndexNow.

Where it stands

A preview went up on August 14, 2026, and irjhomeinspections.com has served the new site since September 2. Verifying the domain in Google Search Console is next.
