Angel Smiles Dental: a new site for a Crown Point family dentist

The business

Angel Smiles Dental is a family and cosmetic dental practice at 8159 E 109th Ave in Crown Point, Indiana, led by Dr. Tarek Safadi, DDS. At our last count it had 673 Google reviews, averaging 5.0.

What was in the way

The practice had lost touch with the developer who built its old website and didn’t know where the site was hosted. We traced it. The site ran on WordPress.com, built with Elementor, inside the developer’s own account rather than the practice’s. The domain was registered at GoDaddy, and the office email ran on Microsoft 365. Whatever we changed, email had to keep working.

What we built

We rebuilt the eight pages the practice already had and added a page for reviews. The design is warm and easy to read, with a few modern touches: a soft mint glow behind the headline, small stat cards and a thin progress bar as you scroll. We wrote it in plain JavaScript with no heavy animation libraries. A local practice needs a site that loads quickly and stays easy to maintain for years.

The switch happened on July 29, 2026. We left the nameservers alone and changed only two things: the www record and the forwarding for the bare domain. Afterwards we checked that all 15 Microsoft and mail records were byte-for-byte the same as before. We sent test emails before and after the change, and both arrived.

The contact form emails the practice. It has no open message box, on purpose, so patients aren’t typing details about their health into a website form. It also limits how often one visitor can send, which cuts down on spam.

We built a page editor into the site so the office can change it themselves: the text on every page, photos, the team list, the treatment list and the order of homepage sections.

Several pages carry structured data that tells search engines this is a dental practice, and there is a real 404 page. We also replaced the favicon files, and Google showed the new icon in search results within 12 hours.

Where it stands

The new site has been live on angelsmilesdental.com since July 29, 2026. Next up: the office’s own editor login, and Google Search Console for the domain.
